Lyndsay collaborates with schools, organizations, and individuals to provide a range of services, including instructional coaching, curriculum design and development, and professional development presentations and workshops.
Social-Emotional
Lyndsay supports organizations and instructors to integrate social-emotional learning practices grounded in humanistic psychology to encourage person-centered learning. She collaborates with instructors on practices to cultivate vulnerable learning environments where students feel safe expressing their authentic selves.
She has also designed a year-long homeroom curriculum that weaves mindfulness strategies into daily lessons, helping students develop self-awareness and build skills for managing frustration while developing a greater understanding of their inner world and emotions.
Critical Thinking
Lyndsay is the co-author of the forthcoming book Thinking Critically About What Matters: An Unconventional Guide. She presents alongside her co-author and husband,
Kevin Klipfel, on key concepts from their book.
In addition, she creates curriculum that integrate information literacy and critical thinking strategies into grades 6–12. She incorporates improvisation games and other creative activities to foster critical thinking and inspire students to generate spontaneous, original ideas.
Coaching
Lyndsay coaches educators and parents on how to cultivate daily practices that support children's critical thinking development. Her approach focuses on building skills such as logical reasoning, perspective-taking, contextualizing information, and practicing sound decision making through meaningful choices grounded in personal values.
She also works one-on-one with individuals to support their unique goals, whether it's parenting in a way that fosters a child's autonomy or designing classroom experiences that prioritize original thought over rote repetition. Lyndsay tailors her coaching to align with each person's vision and needs.
