Session Details
Each session lasts about 55 minutes. Please don’t purchase a package until you’ve had a phone consultation, confirmed a session time, and completed a one-off session. This ensures that we’re the right fit for your family and schedule. If you need to change your session day or time during your package, please reach out. While I’ll do my best to accommodate, I can’t always guarantee a change. Make sure you’re committing to a time you’re confident in before purchasing a package. This ensures you won’t be left with a large package that can’t be refunded or completed if scheduling doesn’t work out.
Note: Once you commit to working with me, it’s a standing weekly commitment. While I’m happy to accommodate reschedules and cancellations (see below), repeated changes may result in the termination of the package and loss of your regular time slot. Consistency is key for the learner’s progress and ensures respect for both your family’s time and the families on the waitlist.
Example: If your child meets with me weekly but you’re unsure about the day of an upcoming event, like swim lessons, consider purchasing the 5-session package instead of the 10-session package.
Session Tracking
I track all session packages and will send a detailed report after each package ends. This report includes an overview of your child’s learning progress, goal advancements, and strategies to continue supporting their development. I recommend you also keep your own notes to cross-reference with the report. If you notice any discrepancies, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Late Starts
Cancellations:
Life happens! If you need to cancel a session, please let me know as soon as possible—ideally 24 hours in advance, so I can offer the time to another student. Frequent cancellations (2 or more in a session package) may result in a charge for the missed sessions.
Ghosting Policy:
If your child is more than 10 minutes late to a session and I can’t reach you, you’ll be charged for the session. If you contact me after 10 minutes and we’re able to get your child online, I’ll try to accommodate, but it may not always be possible. In such cases, you’ll still be charged for the missed session.
Rescheduling:
Have an event or trip coming up? Let me know as soon as possible! Not all reschedules can be honored, but with a bit of creativity, we can usually find a time that works for everyone. If not, we’ll simply skip that session and pick up the next week.
Late Starts:
If you’re running late, just text me. I’ll always try to ensure your child gets their full session, but if you’re more than 10 minutes late, we won’t be able to make up the time, and the session will be shorter based on when your child logs on.
Canceling Session Packages
I reserve the right to cancel a session package at any point. If that happens, I’ll refund the remaining balance of your package, charging for any completed sessions at the rate of $120/hr for a one-off session. Chronic cancellations or scheduling issues may lead to package cancellation. All sessions must be used within three months of purchase, or they will expire, and no refund will be issued.
